Symms Fruit Ranch
Founded in 1914 as an 80-acre homestead with 8 acres of fruit, Symms Fruit Ranch has grown to over 5200 acres of family-owned orchards and farmland. Now operated and managed by fourth and fifth generation family members, the ranch is located on the fertile hillsides of the Sunny Slope region in southwest Idaho near Caldwell. Our orchards grow in rich volcanic soils overlooking the powerful Snake River and bounded by the rugged Owyhee Mountains where warm days and cool nights produce some of the highest quality and most flavorful fruit in the Northwest.
Today, Symms Fruit Ranch produces over 25 different varieties of fruit including: apples, apricots, cherries, peaches, nectarines, plums, prunes, pears & wine grapes. Along with delicious fruit, Symms Fruit Ranch also grows packs and ships onions. Symms premium quality fruit is sold across the United States and in over 30 countries worldwide.
For over 100 years, the Symms family has continued the tradition of sustainably growing, packing and shipping tree fruit with superior quality and flavor for its customers across America and around globe.

Our Premier Crops
For five generations, Symms Fruit Ranch has been growing, packing and shipping some of the highest quality fruits available on the market. We are proud to be recognized as one of Idaho’s premier growers of tree fruit and onions.
Apples
We grow, pack and ship nine varieties of premium northwest apples. In addition to traditional varieties like Red and Golden Delicious, we are now offering our customers popular newer varieties like Honeycrisp and Wild Fire Galas.
Cherries
We are one of the northwest’s premier growers and packers of dark sweet cherries. Our delicious cherries can be found in grocery stores across the country and around the world!
Peaches
The unique combination of sun, soil and climate found in Sunnyslope Idaho are the foundation for producing the highest quality fruit. At Symms Fruit Ranch we let our peaches ripen longer on the tree to provide the sweetest, juiciest and most flavorful yellow and white flesh peaches.

Symms Fruit Ranch is a vertically integrated grower, packer, and shipper. As a result, we are able to control our products from the farm through the packing process and into our customers’ hands. We are constantly working to upgrade and improve our production practices and post-harvest handling techniques to insure a delicious and wholesome eating experience for the consumers of our products.
